rev. Dr. jon gathje, pastor

Pastor Jon has served Trinity since the fall of 2018. Previously, he served at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, California from 2014-2018. He completed his doctoral work at Fuller Seminary in 2020 (wondering about music’s role in faith formation), and loves his wife (Kaitlin), his new son (Benny), his four fur-children (Luther, Osito, Penny, and Lucy), gardening, protesting, taco trucks, and a cappella singing.

Carri prusia, office manager

Carri Prusia is the Office Manager at Trinity and a member of the church as well. Carri received her secretarial training from Metropolitan Community College (Omaha, NE) in 1984. She since has worked for various types of businesses, both large and small in the Omaha area, as well as the United States Postal Service in Mills County, Iowa. After the tragic loss of her son in 2014, she began to look for a position where she could make a difference in the lives of others. She came to Trinity Lutheran Church in February of 2016 and has never been more content with the work and enjoying those she gets to interact with. When she is not working or volunteering at the church, she spends her time with her husband Steve and their three rescue dogs.
