We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Trinity a great one!
SERVICE TIME
We worship together Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM,
either in-person or on our Facebook page.
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
We are located right across the street from the beautiful and historic Miller Park, on the corner of 30th and Redick in North Omaha.
HOW LONG IS A SUNDAY SERVICE?
In total, a worship service lasts between 60 and 75 minutes. Worship begins with singing. Next, we share a time of prayer, readings from the Bible, and an encouraging message about how our faith connects to our everyday life. Finally, we receive communion each week before singing and blessing one another as we leave the church to serve God’s world.
WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT TRINITY?
Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Come also expecting to leave again, challenged to find your own ways that you are being called to serve God and care for our neighbors and community!
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Children are a reminder that the church is vital, living, and growing. Sure, they talk, laugh, cry, poke, squirm, move around, drop things, and rattle our comfort zones, but this is how they were made to bless us and to praise God.
Children are encouraged to attend worship with their parents and join in on the singing, praying, and hearing. They are welcome to move around as much as they need to feel comfortable in the space. Children in worship are like having children at the dinner table. They are a part of the family, and the only way for them to learn is by doing - perfect, "adult" manners or not.
Parents can help by...
*Arriving early to find a spot where kids can see and hear
*Bringing something to play with when kids are distracted
*Calming kids with hugs and having them sit on your lap
*Showing kids when and how to stand, sit, sing, listen, and pray
*Giving kids something to put in the offering plate
Others can help by...
*Encouraging others with greetings, smiles, and kind words
*Helping parents when needed
*Inviting parents with kids to sit with you
When young people are especially rambunctious or when mom and dad might like a short break, there are always friendly and trusted adults who are happy to keep an eye on your kids for you!
We also take the safety of your kids very seriously at Trinity. Adults working with children and youth undergo background checks and training before we put our most precious treasure in their hands.
